Community challenges run on set dates and bring ruckers together on one shared scoreboard. When a challenge is live, you can join it here and follow the standings as workouts come in.
Each community challenge has a defined start and end window. Every ruck you log during that window — whether entered manually or synced from Garmin Connect — automatically counts toward your challenge score. The leaderboard updates as workouts come in, so you always know where you stand without refreshing spreadsheets.
Challenge scores use the same Ruckfecta Score formula as the global leaderboard: distance, elevation gain, and relative pack weight, normalized against current eligible community p95 benchmarks. That means a heavy short ruck can score with a long flat one. A score of 100 is the p95 benchmark, not a maximum, and benchmarks can change as participation grows.
When a community challenge is running, sign up free to enter it, log your first ruck, watch your rank climb, share your standings on social, and recruit friends to your team. You can also start a 30-day challenge for your own crew.
