Ruckfecta gives you two numbers, and people mix them up constantly. Your Score rates a single ruck. Your Rank is your lifetime standing. One moves up and down with every workout; the other only ever goes up. We promised a dedicated post on Rank back in Ruckfecta Score Explained , and this is it. By the end you'll know exactly what each number is for and how to grow both. The one-sentence difference Your Ruckfecta Score answers "how good was this ruck ?" Your Ruckfecta Rank answers "how much have you banked over your whole rucking life ?" Score is a snapshot. Rank is the running total. What the Score rewards The Ruckfecta Score is a per-workout number from 0 to 100, built from three normalized factors: distance, elevation gain, and relative load (your pack weight as a percent of your body weight). Each factor is compared against the community benchmark, so a long flat ruck, a steep climb with a heavy pack, and a fast loaded mile can all land on the same scale. Because it grades one workout at a time, your Score moves with your effort. A big ruck scores high. A recovery walk scores low. That's working as intended, because the Score is supposed to tell you how hard a given ruck actually was. What the Rank rewards Your Ruckfecta Rank is cumulative. Every workout you log adds to it, and it only ever goes up. A bad ruck can't lower your Rank.
